I bought a faulty PS3 from ebay, the guy lived pretty close so went there to pick it up. Whilst there had a chat, and he then told me they got 3 Xbox 360s as well and each kids had a live account! Yet seeing the area he lived in and way he was dressed, you'd think he'd be lucky to have a PSOne!

Gaming is largest and faster growing market, I thin kit was the only one the grow during this recession whilst all other markets fell. And parents like the fact that it gets their kids out of their hair for hours, which is why kdis these days are so disrespectful, as many let TV and games raise their children.

I myself have 3 PS3s for me alone, one ofw, one cfw, and one still on 3.15 with otheros, I know I can upgrade to 3.55 and get the better distros, but kindda like that I still have a 3.15 console, and orginal $ony console with nothing taken away from it (if you dont count the 2 usbs, memory card slots, and ps2 bc). If I had a kid then you can bet they'd want one in their room.

So even though a family may not look like they can afford even one console, they'll save up and get one eventually. Though here in the UK the amount of benefits they get they can get whatever they want cos the government will gladly pay them...

Regarding this though, I've never bought anything from psn so doesnt affect me. If $ony hadnt done what they have done for the last year to their customers, I doubt many of us would have cared, yes we'd complain a little but we'd say we understand they are trying to save money. Well unfortunately $ony have screwed all their customers so many times over the last year that this just add to that.

Do you really think that Microsoft would pay Rockstar more money to make it exclusive than the money Rockstar would have made if it was multiplatform? That is millions of PC, PS3 and probably Wii U users who would have bought it.

Look at what they're losing if they made it exclusive... DLC is a different story dude...

meh i didn't even realize you could activate it on more than one console at a time in the first place... even if you do own FIVE ps3's i doubt your going to playing that same game on all FIVE consoles at the same time. You can just deactivate and reactivate on another console so this really isn't a big deal and only hurts the people abusing the system.

I really don't see the problem, as you can deactivate a game through the website, so you can install it on as many PS3's, but only on 2 at the same time..I personally hate people who do stuff like DLC/gamesharing (and play them at the same time, which you can't if you have a physical disc)

lol knew this was going to happen sooner then later, im happy as long as all my things ive already activated stays there. a well we cant conplain we have got away with this for longer then i thought we would and mostly because we couldnt remotly deactive them ourselfs if a ps3 got broke, thats my reason for thinking they kept it there so long and now we can they are thinking we wont need 5 no more.
