Ok I went from 3.41 to 3.55 Kmeaw by using a p bay download. I installed 3.55 kmeaw but when I put a usb drive in my ps3 it takes a long time for the files to show up and if I select one it freezes my ps3.

Someone said in another thread that I should try a different CFW, one not from the bay. Prefereably one I make myself, it was suggested I use MFWbuilder, but im confused as how I would use this.

Please help as since I changed to 3.55kmeaw I havent been able to play one game, back on 3.41 with my ipod rockbox psgroove hack I could play games all the time.

check out the ps3 scence status link up the top of the site , 1) you shouldnt go 3.41 to cfw 3.55 . u should of went 3.41 to 3.55 ofw and then 3.55 cfw . 2)u shouldnt download cfw from that place . you lucky it was 3.56+ fw instead . check out what fw your ps3 say it on just incase ?

I did go from 3.41, then 3.55 ofw, then 3.55kmeaw. It is 3.55 I checked.

Ok ive just gone back to sony original 3.55 and USB is working wotihout freezing when I use my 16GB stick, but when I use the 32GB stick its acting the same. Must be that my ps3 doesnt like my 32GB stick for whatever reason.

Yey it works nicely now, that really is a great guide Itskamel, the best one Ive ever used. Although I think it needs some instructions (or a link to) on putting PS3 games on the fat 32 external and using ps3splitter etc.

Im happy now that I realised it was just my 32gb stick that was making my ps3 freeze, it reads my 16gb stick perfectly. Anyway cheers, thanks so much youve made my year!
