Put the game with split files on the external and use multiman to remerge all the split files into it's original file.

Strange, that's exactly the same Windows version I used. You could try the following:
X: (replace X by correct drive letter)
cd GAMES\_BCES01175 (use correct game folder here)
uc3_fix_windows

Then it should show the output in the command prompt so you can get the exat error.

Please try the instructions from my last post, to get an error message.

If you watch the output of the script, you will see all files that are modified. So just copy those over.

To be more exact: If you put the game with split files on ext. HDD, multiman will ask you if you want to cache the split file to internal HDD in order to play.

Ahh, ok seems I missed a line when editing the script. Uploading a fixed version as we speak.

If you don't want to re-download, just open uc3_fix_windows.bat using notepad and after the line "SET VCDSUF=" insert a new line containing ":CHECKFILES".

EDIT: New version is up, check first post.

This.

There is no :CHECKFILES section on the batch file. So, the script can not execute for those whom applied previous fix.
