Ok i think i have finde out the trick with my PS3... my ps3 is ok... but it suck my head

I have to wait a few seconds ... like one minit, than i can write my NOR.... i dont know why... but befor i write, i have erase my chip.... becaus if i dont do that, he cant write my NOR... he write very fast like 3 minits, and i know its wrong... but if i erase is, than he write correctly...

my, i think, very last problem is the Dual Boot. If my 3.55 is running corrctly, i dump the NOR, after than i put the HDD A (like OFW HDD) and Update to 3.72... it works! Than i dump them... now, if i write the 3.55 fw back and put the HDD B like CFW... the ps3 want boot, green/red light goes down. How i have to handling ?

we go from here, I have two dumps... like CFW 3.55 and OFW 3.72 or higher.
Now is running 3.72 and want now 3.55, how i do that? i try so:

01) Power Cable + USB Cable from Teensy isnt connected => HDD A (OFW) is inside!
02) Connect Teensy and than i connect Power Cable
03) CMD => Norway.py COMxx
04) i start the PS3 and wait my special minit trick :D
05) norway.py comxx erasechip ... after three minits....
06) norway.py comxx write swap 355 dump ... than
07) i plug the power cable + teensy cable out
08) chance the hdd A to hdd B
09) Connect Power Cable and start PS3

or i have to do after erasechip and write swap 355 dump the
=> norway.py comxx release and than i plug all out ?

the and the another think what i have... i read sometimes that ros0 ros1 is needet, is that right?

my downgrad.bin dosnt have ros1, ros2... only PRG0 and PRG1, both with 3.55
I check my swap 3.55 cfw (i dump than after service mode) it haves the same!!! Maybe this is why my ps3 is brick if i want usw 3.55???

My swap 3.72 dump have ros1: 3.72 and ros0 is unknown.

have i to do after the downgrade and Service Mode (CFW Intallation under service mode) a second or threed Update with CFW 3.55 ? will it than work if i dump after the second/threed update if my dump have ros1/ros0:: 3.55 ?

i have the same problem on my ps3 when i'm on 3.72 i can fast swap with the swap dump 3.55 on it without erasechip but when i'm on 3.55 and want to go on 3.72, if i dont erasechip before i cant use my swap dump 3.72

There is instruction how to swap CFW/OFW
1. Install latest OFW on PS3 with "OFW-HDD".
2. Dump PS3`s NOR and call it OFW.bin (put it in safe place and do not modify it).
3. Change HDD to "CFW-HDD" and downgrade console to 3.55 (use dospiedros_v2 patches, erasechihp, write patched firmware, get PS3 in service mode with dongle,flash 3.55no_check firmware, update firmware with rogero_v2).
4. When downgrade fully finished and when You have working PS3 with playable 3.55 firmware - dump PS3`s NOR and call it CFW.bin.


If You want OFW - erase chip, write OFW.bin and put "OFW-HDD" into console. PS3 boots with OFW.
If You want CFW - erase chip, write CFW.bin and put "CFW-HDD" into console. PS3 boots with CFW.

NOR chip type: K8Q2815UQB (0x7e0601)
every time i read not identical with another dump .
all different
all
tried to rewire 3 time , all same .
what can i do ?

i follow the tutorial on ps3devwiki, the same found on ps3hax and dont read erasechip before write

NOW IT’S FINISHED! You should have “swap dump 3.55.bin” and “swap dump 3.70.bin” … Now you just have to swap HDD and flash the correspondening dump: HDD A = swap dump 3.70.bin HDD B = swap dump 3.55.bin

The "write" command is doing a differential write. It means that only those sectors are erased and written that are different from the actual NOR content. So 3 mins might be okay depending on your NOR content and the dump you're writing. No "erasechip" is required here.

I got this chip twice. But I dumped it only in 5V mode. In 3.3V mode dumps always have different MD5.
