regarding the upgrade.
do i really need to delete old multiman (how?)
or can i just update it via internet so all my settings will be the same.
will i lose my backup games during the upgrade.
im afraid i will lose my jailbreak if i delete the old one and cant install the new one.
can you guide me step by step how can i upgrade my 1.15 to new version 2.xx

i bought my ps3 jailbroken already and multiman is also installed in the store where i bought it

You will not lose a thing by removing multiman.

Ordinarily, you can now update multiman using its own update function.

I think in your case, and why its suggested to delete it first, is due to the age of yours compared to the latest, there will be major changes.


You can simply delete multiman from the XMB in games section by pressing triangle to bring up the side menu.

have the new multiman pkg file on a sub stick ready, remove the old one, install the new one, and within less than a minute you'll be up and running again, nothing lost!

just remember to install the BDemu pkg after multiman in order for it to run the games..


If your version of multiman has an upgrade function, by all means try it first, if that fails, delete and install fresh.

thank you i'll try to update it by pressing r3 tonight and if it fails i'll just download the new 2.xx version.
