yes I am craving to play my ps2 iso backups of my castlevania games. I bought a phat ps3 4 months ago to have that option hopefully one day the great deank will implement it in MM. We just have to wait for the ps3 master and send him donations.

Read the first page - there is enough info about BDMV/AVCHD...

Your movie must be in a folder inside the /GAMES folder where your game rips are:

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/MY_MOVIE/BDMV/index.bdmv

Then multiMAN can find it and convert it to AVCHD (if the disc is not Java authored / BD-J). If the disc has java content it won't work.

You can also play the .m2ts files directly (from the /BDMV/STREAM folder) with showtime.
ah, this is why my rip of dragons lair will not work, it uses java to play the movies do you think there will ever be a way to get java to work one day?

Is there any compatibility list for the NTFS HDD support ? Someone please recommend a 2.5 external HDD of 640GB-750GB that works with the NTFS driver .
I have 640GB Western Digital My Passport 070B that doesn't work

I haven't seen such compatibility list. Probably your issue is with the USB enclosure that is USB 3.0, and not related with the HDD inside. Try to find another disk enclosure that is USB 2.0 (the spec used by PS3) and try with your same disk 640GB.

Enclosure is USB 2.0 and anyway i can't open it up , it was built this way and still in warranty . Cable is 15 cm long so it's not the issue . We should start a HDD compat list thread , i could start it ....

remote play

Dear Dean or anyone who can help!
I would like to use remote play on my pc, but multiman doesn't start, it says: remote play not supported!
As I know MM is remote play compatible, and it patches the param.sfo-s of the games to make them work via psp or other compatible pheripherials, but it doesn't want to work.
Is there any difference between psp and pc remote play?
I tried to patch the param.sfo of MM via ftp, and I overwrote it, but nothing happened, and next time I checked the param.sfo it was in it's default state (without remote play support). So something has reseted it. Perhaps MM doesn't allow to modify it's param.sfo. I tried the same with some games too, but the same happened. Is the MM, what pathes always the .sfo files without remote play support, or the sfoeditor is crap?
Thanks in advance!

@p00h
There is a discussion thread for the issue with PC Remote Play here:
http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=29628

It seems that PC Remote Play is more limited than PSP version.
PSN games that officially support Remote Play cannot start either.
So it doesn't look like it is an issue with multiMAN.

It can be open up if you really want to. But its not an easy process and will void any warranty you have. I had that drive for a little while. It had a lot of compatibility issues with a lot of devices. It was the wd smart firmware inside the drive itself. Wd has been working on the problem and released new firmware for the drive about 3 weeks ago. Update its firmware and you may have better luck with it. Go here to learn more about it and get the firmware http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/wdsmar...P_Elite&os=WIN
