Black Ops Local Multiplayer

Hey guys,

So recently I have been searching around about Black Ops and I have come across some information that it is possible to set up 'bots' in Local Multiplayer games.

You set up the game, and go to 'EDIT GAME OPTIONS' and you will be given the option to add a timer, points and bots.

However, I do not have this menu..

Apparently you had to play on PSN once before the menu was activated, however I am unsure of this legitimacy.

Does anyone know how I can get the 'EDIT GAME OPTIONS' to show up so that I can set up bots for my local multiplayer games, as I'm on 3.55.

Thanks.

split screen then change the game options. and it will ask how many enimies you want. (those are the bots) you can also put bots on your team.

Is any specific update required because I don't seem to have the game options show up in the menu on my PS3.

I only got:
Start Match
Change Map
Change Game Mode
Create a Class
Killstreak

KK sweet, thanks very much. 1.09 should be fine for me, and given its 3.55 firmware wont be a hassle.

My mate, on the other hand, is still on 3.41 FW. Can these updates be decrypted/patched or whatever so he can install the updates on his PS3?

well the best thing to do would be to tell him to get with the program and get on 3.55. there is a tutorial in my signature for it.

I've told him numerous times, however he refuses.

He claims that because he has purchased a maximus dongle and it has worked perfectly, there is no need to replace it.

His BD drive is also dead, and lack of disc-less support on 3.55 worries him.

Also, forgot to ask yesterday, but when I am updating the game do I need to get each update, or just 1.09?
