AND i OWN a COMMODORE 64 with 2 floppy drives, but you can only use one + tape player, plus hundreds of cracked floppys and bought tapes, not mine but i got it from a cousin

But back on Topic i hope the games is as great as battlefield 3, it's a real tough choice which one to buy, big open spaces and tactical = bf3 vs run and gun and close quarters shooting, and still the same damn engine, , i want to see some kind of desctruction to in a cod game

Yeah I know about PC games been playing them since 5 1/4 disk floppies and the Oregon trail/carmen san diego on apple and i know the reason behind using the no dvd/cd crack, however I thought we were talking about PS3 as this is a PS3 site, I was talking about PS3 games not PC's.

If you were trying to say people dont really use the games as backups so much as to have it on there hard drive to keep from the 5 seconds it takes to put the disc into the ps3 to keep their laser life longer I'd understand.

And actually its prolly faster to put a game disc in on OFW and play than load from hard drive being you have to open a backup manager, wait for it to load, find your game, wait for that to load, wait for the manager to exit to XMB, then pick your game and wait it for it too load again.

And yes I too owned a commodore 64 as a kid that I only used for math problems I also had an Intellivision and Atari 2600 of course.
