It does work on version 1.16.07, but as soon as I tried to update the same problem came back... Should I rebuild the database? Will I lose the game backups on the internal hdd?

rebuilding your data base will not loose your games.

I have a question I am currently on firmware 3.41 and wish to play Uncharted 3 using my TI 84+. I haven't really experimented with it because of risks of bricking. so would I have to update my firmware to 3.55 or what??

why would u use 3.41 when there's 3.55 anyway ..? The tut is great helped me a lot i got a full hdd now n its rofl:D thanks a lot!! Uncharted 3 works on 3.55 i guess and with the right eboot fix buddy

look in the tut on how to install the spoof and change the eboot. for mk9 then you will get the general idea.

Thanks i haven't really touched my ps3 since I jailbroke it a few months ago so I'm not that up to date with the hacking latest. So if i were to follow all those steps above beginning with updating to the official firmware 3.55 and then if I were to jailbreak it through the CFW would my old games still be accessible? I just don't want to risk losing accessibility to all those games I have on my hard drive. This may be a stupid question
