An old (1994) Opel (Vauxhall) Astra 1.6i, only because I need to own a car private for taxes. Otherwise the tax office assumes I use my business truck (Renault Mascott 150) for private use and I have to pay way more income tax

Funny thing it is a truck but I can use it as a Van here in the Netherlands. Don't need a trucker license for it

That's because there are vans that are more stout than that thing.

don't think so, maybe they look more stout (?) but they are not.... this one has full air suspension including the driver seat (trailer also with air suspension) and has 7 seats and 4 doors Without the trailer I am allowed to drive 120 km/h with it (with car trailer only 80 km/h) and the top speed without the car trailer is 190 km/h

Stout means it can hold more weight...and I suspect that with only two axles and a pivot in the middle, your maximum tonnage is less that some pickup trucks. I'm not talking down on your van at all...I'm just explaining why it is classified as a van, and it is not in the same category as an 18-wheel truck.
