Obviously Math is not the only one who kept the scene running but he has done his fair share along with all the other dev's but you no as well as i do that when news like this is posted there are a load of noobs running around crying CFW DOES THIS MEAN CFW AND I CAN PLAY BACKUPS!!!

The ps3 scene would not even be this big if it was not full of pirates anyways if people did not have the chance to play pirated/backup games then how many people do you think would be in the scene?

And that is not to say that the devs behind the backup manager PKG's are to blame because there not there software is brilliant allowing psx and ps2 games to now play on all consoles

I personally think the numbers would drop from lets say PS3hax has over 300k members now take away the people who are going to not use homebrew apart from downloading and pirating games your left with about 1 - 10k at an estimate thats a massive drop really.

I think that all Scene's should no there limits when it comes to things like this because as soon as the corporations get wind that people can pirate thats when things get serious.

I am not here to say that playing LEGAL backups is wrong but being able to play pirated one's is.

But obviously the likes of $ony don't take into account who does what and if they allow piracy.

And now look i sound like a ******.

End of it is $ony's gonna catch on to this then push updates out while getting there lawyers back out of the cupboard and dust them off to set about the next load of devs who "hack" the ps3 "AGAIN" you no it, i no it, everyone knows it.

So why are we all happy for yes CFW might be that much closer but what are we gonna lose in the process another dev here, a load more bricked consoles maybe?

What's even more funny is that despite this amazing leak/release I feel that nothing is going to come from this, and this whole drama going on here is gonna be an extra cause for this.

People Math is Math, you can love him or hate him, you must understand that either of these feelings against him are not going to change any facts since Math's strategy is strict so it's a pure waste of time arguing over the fact, you just prove that you can transform to a troller when it comes to news such as these.

Is the PS3 scene so desperate that it lives only off ping-pong crap like this? Doesn't anybody see the pattern? Word about progress comes up, 100 pages of crap are generated and it ends up replaced by something else in the end. Up and down, left and right, hot and cold, it's real and it's fake, we're moving closer and we're going further away... and while we're busy arguing over authenticity and usefulness of various things such as this, months and months have passed and guess what - nothing really "revolutionary" has happened since 3.55 and that was a loooong time ago (considering the life cycle of a console, I mean).
