Just for the moment, let's ignore all the bounties for a key that he could buy a new car with if he would just release it.

You don't like my analogy about how all sorts of huge corporations are only successful because they release products...how about google? Suppose they kept bragging about how great Android is, and never released anything? How many people here would have android phones? Wouldn't people be complaining about how google keeps taunting them with a great phone that they can't buy?

You call me a socialist...and I guess I am to a certain extent (I think public schools for children are a good idea)...but I am also a capitalist (I like money...assuming I have it). Math is neither. I give away schematics and build instructions for fan controllers, and I sell them too...Math doesn't give away his stuff nor does he sell it. What on earth is his goal, other than to taunt people? ...and don't tell me that 3.60+ keys are worthless...there are bounties out, or he could make an encrypted downgrade key that costs $5 to make and sells for $50...and he would be helping people while making money off them because it wouldn't require cracking open your system to install a $100 E3 downgrader that just bricks the system.

BTW...you obviously didn't do much research before posting because I POST SOURCE CODE for my projects. I don't claim to be a master programmer or anything, but I do work with C++...and there are a ton of other people here that know this and just about every other programming language...none of them have been able to get anything useful from Math's "guide" to getting keys. Plus, I help people with their projects when they can't figure it out from my code, instructions, illustrated guides, etc... Since you are so sure that all is needed is some basic C++, obviously you have done it...so would you go ahead and post the results for all us mortals???

geohot released PUBLIC root keys

this method gives you your UNIQUE (only to your console) root key which if im not mistaken is encrypted at the factory when it ships and DOESN'T change!!

its like a jigsaw puzzle and this is another piece, but after so long it all flies together pretty quickly

look at it this way, if this was to DIRECTLY (with no other work) lead to a 3.6x/3.7x CFW wouldnt THAT have been leaked and not the method? this exploit was patched in 3.56+
