nope, this 170mb file has nothing to do with my problem. And it contains only *.self files which I can't use to program my teensy dongle.
My problem is basically this - how to "convert" my teensy 1.0 board to work exactly like gold USB that khalkedon used? Is that psgrade will provide this functionality?

you put hex file on the teeny and u have you downgrade dongle . to put the ps3 in to service mode you put the teeny right side usb nearest to blu ray drive and do power then eject

psgroove is a dongle also, all dongle can put ps3 in factory mode ( not sure about cobra).
I didnt got why u searching for a specific .hex file when u can use every files u want from any jailbreak device

stfu u dont know nothink , ps groove is not a dongle its open source implementation of PS JailBreak. Reverse engineered from a dongle to code ( as in the hex file ) each board eg golden avr Teensy, Teensy++, Minimus, Maximus etc etc all have has the same code inplanted in to diffent hex witch are programed for the right boards eg the teensy 1.0 is a at90usb162 18bit bit , teensy 2.0 is atmega32u4 16bit , a teensy++1 is at90usb646 16bit and so on fir the rest of the boards that ive not named so no there is not just 1 hex file for all . also the ps grove is for jailbreaking 3.41ofw . it has nothink to do with this thread , ps grade is for downgrading and also to get into service mode and out of sevice mode ,

2.Noone here sayd that there is 1 hex file for all, i've just sayd that not only PSgrade files can help him make a dongle
3.As u sayd "i dont know nothink" but a payload for psgroove for enter service mode was on work like 1 year ago or maybe more, so 99% ofc u can enter service mode whit psgroove atm
4.For exit service mode u dont need any dongle, just a usb key whit a file
5.Actually u can create a psgroove starting from a teensy 1.0 and if this payload is out as i think, here your dongle for enter service mode

here your saying u can use all hex files from other boards when u cant though !
