Looking forward to more testing. If this is confirmed to be able to play 3.6+ games on HDD I will buy this dongle. ****ing all the fake ass devs like Math and Tuhta, I'm willing to pay the price of one retail game for this dongle if it works as advertised.

See the problem isn't if it works as advertised but for how long will it work as advertised, if you're required to buy games off of them to keep getting the up to date firmware then you'll just end up paying and paying to be able to play games, i'm looking forward more to an eventual proper CFW without the need to pay people for stuff to use my PS3 as i see fit

But IF they decide to release the firmware without a required game purchase then it might be worth looking in to assuming they have a method to reliably keep this working and not just using debug eboots or some other short term workaround etc.

Utoptoy site. They don't sell games. You have to burn the games. I'm wonder what program use to burn?

They advertised it as being able to play 3.6+ games from HDD with an update, and I don't care if I need to rip their pirated discs, if this thing is real there will be people uploading the eboots from their discs. As for $ony patching it, I don't care, if their list of supported games are true then it's already worth it to me. So I really hope bubba will do some tests with running games from HDD.

2.1 ver I am on now (Reading Burn games on BluRay Discs..

I know you're busy Bubba but I'm a little confused by this post. Only update 1.0 version and you're on 2.1 now?

Do you mean there are 2 updates 1.0 and 2.1

1.0 (im guessing only use their discs)
2.1 burn on regular discs

and the HD version will it only be available from getting it off there games? or do you even know, thanks sir, Iwould get one now but then i'd have to get a blu ray burner holding out for HD firmware.

seems the newest update is going to come w/ dongles released on the 12th, it's disconcerning that you have to buy their pirated games, but since they have made it to where you don't need special discs maybe they plan on either making them available for d/l or maybe just the patches

Thanks for testing this. Keep us updated on running games from HDD. Hopefully they will really enable it in the next fw update.
