Linux/Mac OS X/other unix users, please use uc3_fix_unix.command
script instead and give the path to BCES01175 folder as the first
argument or run it from the game direcitor.
Also unix users must have the program xdelta3 installed.

Total noob. Could someone please tell me how to do this on a mac?
I have replaced the eboot fix and deleted the camera text but how do I get the journal fixes and the freezes in chapters 9 and 11? What does the dev mean by "give the path to BCES01175 folder as the first argument or run it from the game direcitor."? I would love a quick reply.
Thank you

Fixed my issue by downloading the portuguese language files and adding to the game... no more black screen now.

Extract all files of fix to the directory which has "PS3_GAME" directory and "PARAM.SFO" file.

Also if your user has no password set, you cannot run sudo command, so set a password, you can remove it again after you've finished.
I have a password set but I get this message error message

"Warning: No index(es) found! Have you synced your source indexes?
Error: Port xdelta not found"

extract all files meaning all the patchfiles from out off the patch folder into GAME directory where GAME and UPDATE are? when i click on the bat file, just notepad file appears, when i right click and run as admin i get error not found in black box. press key to continue!

Thanks

Well you can repackage actor33.psarc from actor33 folder using original psarc.exe from sony sdk using "psarc.exe create -S -oactor33.psarc actor33", however this will most likely cause the posted fix to fail, because you don't have an bit-exact archive file.

This is basically what I did to create the binary patches against the original .psarc files. Of course this way you can also recreate the .psarc files if you already followed the instructions from the original fix, only note that to recreate bin.psarc command line would be "psarc.exe create -obin.psarc dc1"
