Have the PS3 read a full game as if it were a Demo.

Of course the playstation 3 has the capability to run games from the harddrive, as when you buy one from the playstation network "legally" and the console reads it without problems at all... can someone please explain me why is so hard so do this with the actual firmware? im annoyed, i have the firmware 3.73 and im stuck! i was searching something about a piece of hardware called e3 but i don´t buy the method since it involves to open the console and solder stuff ... can we have a little hope someone will find a way or is something really hard to do?, i mean, is someone working on a hack right now so we can have a little hope or not? thanks.

The current E3-Flasher is solderless, but you do have to open the console.

E3 NOR flasher doesn't work on NAND, that's why it's called E3 NOR flasher.

@pereb27 touche.

I'm not sure whats happened with the QA Token Flag thing. Weren't you able to downgrade your console through the Debug Menu?

Just be careful because some PS3's have a firmware which they cannot operate under. It you flash 3.55 on a 3.6 version PS3 (for example) you will end up bricking your console.
