The torrent you downloaded is for 99.99% sure a 1:1 backup of the original disk without any files modified. They just upload it so it will be available when the crack will be released, if it will ever be released that is...

with 3.72 you can't do anything what $ony thinks is illegal. maybe download some free demo's but that is it.

Your ps3 is on 3.72 which means you are not able to play any downloaded ps3 games at all. you need to be on Custom Firmware (CFW) 3.55 in order to play downloaded or "backed up" games. Sadly for you the only way you can play backed up games is if you buy an E3 flasher to downgrade your firmware to 3.55

Another sad point I must make is that even if you do that...Modern Warfare 3 is not playable yet on CFW. The reason why the game is on torrent sites is incase someone creates a fix that will enable the game to be played on CFW.

Bottom line : There is no way for you to play that game

Piracy is strongly discouraged on this forum, and posting links to Pirated content is most definitely not allowed. Some members make a big deal out of it, some don't. If you do post anything on here about piracy you should be prepared for people flaming you though, some people take it personally for some reason.

i know that if you put it on a psp you can download free games but i am confused with this whole thing with ps3 and custom firmware
