sort PSN titles alphabetically

So I've been digging around for information on how to best organize my PSN downloads, and I came across this:

http://psx-scene.com/forums/f118/how...n-games-74617/

I tried editing explore_view.txt as instructed but couldn't get my PSN titles to organize alphabetically. The general consensus seems to be that it's currently not possible (thanks Sony), but I thought I'd check here since people usually know what's up.

I've got my XMB organized by Album, and all PSN content is under "PSN games" - but is there any way to get titles listed alphabetically?

hes also put them into separte folders to tidy them, but hes asking how can he organize the folders alphabetically. which to me seems pointless anyway as long as they are tidy and in spearte folders.

Well, I'm not looking to organize the folders alphabetically, I'm looking to organize the titles within a folder alphabetically.

I've got 20-something PSN titles, so it's starting to become an issue when they're all disorganized.

All you have to do is hit ( Triangle ) information .Were it says ( Record ) ->Type the same thing for all the files/PSN games ,etc ,you want to be in the same folder. Then when you are done hit SQUARE until you see all folders/Items sort out by what you had named each PSN game or any file. Everything you named the same or groups of multiple items will end up in the same folder, as long as you name each one the same or each file different .You can do this in every category.even music & video ... you can name each game in XMB ,by just adding a letter to were it says RECORD !

i have mine set up like this so all my psn games are in same folder & i go into the folder & they are all in a-z i think if you hit triangle when in the folder you get more options again .. i 4 get ,but u can do what u want to do..

Yeah, I think I'm understanding what you're saying, and I've already done this. For all my PSN titles, I have already hit Triangle -> Information -> Album, and edited all of them to be included in the "PSN games" album. So they're all organized within the "PSN games" album. The problem is that within that album/folder, they are NOT alphabetical. They are sorted by creation date, not alphabetical by name.

That's what you're talking about, right?

yes but at least they will be in same folder .if you want try & just put i letter the game name street fighter = s & so on .but this way u can not group them in folders they will only be in each folder or in xmb ..i never tried any other way ..

Has anyone seen or tried the above method, of editing explore_view.txt? The guy in the linked thread listed it as a solution but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help?
