It would be usefull to split this thread to "Dev Ethics" and "Doin only everything on your PS3". Since I'm not a dev, or have computerskills that remotely come close, I'm interested in New CFW, to finally make my PS3 DO ONLY EVERYTHING...

Dev Ethics is something that's between dev's. If you're not a dev and are very greatful to benefit from their knowledge, just wait and thank them, when it's there. Don't start about ethics, when you don't contribute. Just leave it alone, at least I will.

Hope something gets picked up by another dev. Good luck to you all. If I can help in anyway (though probably I can't cause of my poor computer skills) PM me.

That disproves the batch theory because of where the delay is (if it was on the line below, it could be the "sleep" command). Still, it doesn't disprove a simple C script.

I also do agree that some times math goes to far with his "bragging", but that's they way he is and by him showing that screenshot, its proof to show, that it can be done, all it needs is someone willing to go that extra mile.

So many posts , so I'll just skip to mine. If people haven't understood it by now then (Insert smart comment here). To the people complaining "Why won't he just release it?", think about it like this. Let say for instance that Math is interested in cfw 3.73 or even has it to play games or just to reap the benefits of what the higher firmwares has to offer.As long as there is only one person and that said person stays under the radar there's no problem. However releasing a new cfw onto the world brings a **** load of problems, doing that is like opening the floodgates and that'll forcibly push Sony into action thus ending Math's peaceful existence with his CFW. A question, if you had the newest CFW and Sony didn't really take notice because it was only one or a few people would you ruin it by telling the world?
