That's not really the problem, if his dealing remained on wiki's, twitter, irc, etc. and was between he and the devs that are working then none of this would matter. Unfortunately it keeps ending up places like here where the average townsfolk get to stone him in the town square. It is always tempting since much of his dealings are with exciting newsworthy things to post 'news' about Math, but it always ends in the same way. Also just posting a news topic with his name in it generates site traffic too. I think everyone involved that isn't a dev should just leave the guy and his info alone. He doesn't release packages for public consumption so his work is worthless to anyone but someone actively doing development on a project that he has some insight on. Really, did anyone not working on 3.7+ custom firmware get anything from his discovery other than a cute jpeg and some fun forum reading material?
