quik question I have ofw of 3.66 is it a big deal to update to 3.73 since I dont have 3.55 or should I wait it out just in case....btw be patient yal eventually math n company will release something jus be patient!!!

I'm still wondering what kind of productivity this article bring to the PS3 scene?

Does this even deserve to be posted on the main page as a featured "breaking" article? if you ask me, I'd say no, and everyone knows why.

"Breaking" would be if there was something productive out of all this, like something that would affect many individuals, but here we are just talking about one individual.

In my opinion, this indeed is just a big drama thread, that should be categorized as such.

I'd have to agree, right now regardless who loves Matthew (or not) we have nothing but the word of some disgruntled ex-dev who is not remembered by the majority of sceners for anything he did in the past because of his drama queen antics these days and will always be branded amongst the guys who ruined the scene instead of those who helped it.

Right now he has no evidence other than something that can be created by making a batch file from a txt document.

I think until Matthew decides to join the devs and release stuff all his postings should not belong in the news section, it'll save the moderators having to ban people as well as deal with all the drama created by Matthew's childish antics in the first place.

PPC64 assembly to be exact last I checked, its similar to PPC32 but there are some differences, PPC64 reuses a lot from PPC32. And although learning C# is good I don't THINK its what is used to program on PS3, but can be used to program PC apps. C++ is definitely a must. Hmm a bunch of hardware is good. Maybe a USB analyzer for those dongles. The more equipment you have the better I think lol, better to have it and don't need it then need it and not have it. BTW I don't know how to hack the PS3 OBVIOUSLY but I have been looking into the PS2 emulator elfs and learning PPC64 myself (self learning) so I have some bases into this topic.

Well, of course. What else could it be?

What constructive discussion did people expect from this? It's a screenshot of a cmd.exe. There's nothing to work with here. There's only three things that can be talked about: a) the fact that lv0 has been (possibly) cracked and the PS3 is wide open; b) the fact that the person that's managed to do it wont share his findings; c) the person itself. The first is too vague to even really talk about. It's like looking at this post, and trying to figure out what keyboard I've used to type it with; only even sillier. "B" just angers a lot of people, because they want it bad, and that just adds to their hate for "C," who already has a rather bad reputation. Not to mention, this is a place full of people who have absolutely no clue about the field, and, for the most part, have the grammatical skill of mentally ill farm animals, or just haven't mastered the english language at all.

I doubt anyone is surprised that this ended in a "math bash-fest." It's only logical. And to you, dear user of this forum: You aren't a better or smarter poster, nor do you add more to the discussion, when you point out how this isn't a good thread. It's all -- this post very much included -- just more piss in a sea of piss. This was bound to fail from the beginning, for very obvious reasons.
