0_o ok.... so in 2 days of reconstructions and retrys i managed to actually back up my BIOS and start the downgrade.
Now i got to "Connect the controller using USB cable and press the PS button." part, but if it do it just says something in lines of: The system cannot run. Connect USB with 3.73 update or press PS button to restart. Any way to get past that without the "special" USB downgrade dongle? |

Well i don't own either of those, but I think i could get a PSP for a while.
If i did use PSP to enter the service mode, where or how should I do it? PS:Thnx for the quick reply :D Edit/Question: Does that state I described in my previous message counts as "downgraded" to a version which supports PSP service mode trick? (just to make sure cause it used to brick PS3s i read) Last edited by Jitsuryoku; 11-15-2011 at 01:23 PM. |

Naw, Screw the flasher. It will be much easier, cheaper and by all likelyhood faster to just buy a ps3 with 3.55 and a dongle if you like.
I mean it's cool the flasher can let you downgrade and upgrade any time, right? Now think of it this way if by doing 1 downgrade like 80% of poeple get bricks. Switching HDD might give bricks, restoring bios gives bricks... I can almost build a house of that.... With that in mind how much of "dual boot" and "easy 1 button" downgrades would you use? You would most likely stick to 3.55 IF succesfull. Then you would uninstall the flasher, put the it into to an urn, place several curse sealing talismans and put it in the darkest corner in your attic or drop it into a wishing well. Hell, I might aswell start doing this right now... |

Hi, people! I have PS3 Slim 3.65 CECH 3001A.
I`d like to downgrade it 3.65>3.55. Is it possible? I read that E3 isn`t support 300X revision of PS3. Is there any options to downgrade it or use dual boot? Last edited by AlexGT; 11-25-2011 at 06:43 AM. |
