Closest I ever got to crying must be the battle between Naked Snake and The Boss in MGS3. I loved how that relationship was portrayed, it seemed really genuine and convincing. Just because of that I expected to cry like a little b*tch at the end of MGS4... and I probably would if Snake actually went through and killed himself but as Big Boss appears and starts repeating himself over and over again for so long that you just start counting the number of dust particles on your TV, it never happened.

I was going to mention MGS3 too! I didn't because it didn't make me cry back then, but I might replay the HD version and see what happens! I LOVE THAT GAME! I seriously didn't think ANYONE would mention it. **** yes.

I was 16yrs old and Final Fantasy VII just came out. It as the first game that pulled me in to where I felt I was part of the characters. When Aeris was killed and she sank to the bottom of the pool, the music set in and I cried like a little *****.

![]() Well, MGS3 sure is a legendary game, it's by far my favorite in the series and that sure was an unforgettable battle. Very "organic", very human... I remember I hesitated to kill her for a long time and could almost taste Snake's remorse after that. The fact that he appears in MGS4 and still feels the same after all those years just made MGS3 worth replaying for the 100th time (and beyond, lol) just as her appearance in MGS3 explained many things and gave them meaning, from the story behind Snake's bandana to her influence as Ocelot's mother so his behavior at certain moments in the rest of the series just made sense afterwards. Here, somebody made a really awesome video out of it. Metal Gear Solid 3 Music The Boss 'The Best is Yet to Come' (HQ Recut) - YouTube |

I'd go with MW3 too. My favorite character, which was Soap, died. The ending could have been better though. I got slightly sad because this is the last MW. If you think about it, they used same Red Dot Sight's as they used in MW1. Same engine as MW2, and now its just new guns and maps. The main characters die. Clue? I think so.

I was pretty crushed when John Marston died (Red Dead Redemption). After playing most of the game with him and discovering his story, it was sad to see him go.
