still cant back up my blu rays
Hi all, Very new to multiman and what it can and cannot do so here goes. Have had an older ps3 that i got and the guy i bought it from alread had installed multiman in it for me. it had version 2.03 but i recently saw that the newer version will allow you to back-up you blu ray movies as well? So i installed the newest 2.09 update pkg to my ps3 which seemed to work as multiman changes from what it looked like before yet when i go to back up a blu ray disc it goes to the screen to copy but stays at 0% the whole time. I fear i may have skipped over files that i needed. If so how do i get them?

I have a similar problem.
First I tried it on 3.41 hermes 4b dongle. Couldn't copy or playback from Multiman, playback was fine from XMB. Then I updated to ofw 3.55 and then cfw kmeaw 3.55, installed bdemu2, 2.09 multiman. I can still playback my bluray movies normally from xmb, but no luck with copying from Multiman. I starts copying but it reports 0 bytes and takes a long time to do nothing. Any ideas? hi, i have a similar problem... i used direct access mode to copy a blu ray concert. copy went fine, then i transfered all files to pc (44gb) ... then im stuck!!!
i need to access these files, but it seems they are encrypted. i downloaded MakeMKV but it cant find a proper Volume Key... is there any chance to extract that volume key from PS3?? or is there another way to view/edit files on my PC?? thanks |

Media is AACS protected! AACS MKB version 21 couldn't retrieve AGID! Sorry, but trial versions are not allowed to use the update server! The AnyDVDHD trial is intended for functionality testing only and, for business reasons, updates for processing some new discs are not available. ERROR processing Blu-ray disc!  maybe it will work but im not going to pay 60 euro just to copy a blu ray i bought for 15 euro :/

I was also wondering why this was happening, cause to my understanding we should be able to back up just about any media, dvd, blu ray and so on. any help would be nice.

GREAT !!!! i found a WAY!!! :D:D:D:D:D
now i can safely say that anydvd SUCKS i downloaded DVDFab Passkey Trial and DVDFab Virtual Drive. i loaded the iso that i created with imgburn (free) from the files that Multiman created. then i got into the virtual image and tried to play it with VLC... protection was unlocked!  Disc media: Blu-ray Disc type: BDMV Volume name: 20111116-154724-[BLU-RAY] AACS (Advanced Access Content System) protection is removed! AACS MKB version: 21 BD+ protection is not found. |
