Noob question

I bought a ps3 with 3.55 running Cobra dongle. I have a few questions:

1. Does this mean I have ofw 3.55 if I unplug the Cobra dongle?
2. Can I install MultiMan and use Cobra dongle at the same time? I want to try MM because so many games says it's tested to work with MM.
3. If I installed a cfw 3.55 (e.g. Kmeaw) does that mean I will not be able to revert back to using ofw 3.55? Will I still be able to use Cobra dongle if I install Kmeaw?

Thanks and sorry for the noobness

1. Yes
2. Yes, i think.
3. No, if you flash with Kmeaw 3.55 you can go back to OFW 3.55 at any time. I'm not sure if you can still use cobra dongle. Cobra and Kmeaw are basically the same thing though. Kmeaw just without the dongle.

OH really? (Q1) I assumed he meant when there was no dongle BEFORE he booted. My mistake.

So if the dongle is taken out AFTER booting then he has cobra CFW until he turns his ps3 off?

from what i understand the ps3 has the cobra cfw on it and it has to be on there in order for the dongle to work correctly.

From what I've read, Cobra has it's own backup manager.

It does. But there are some games (e.g. COD MW2) that I can't get working, the fix instructions applies to MM only hence why I want to install MM, but I don't want to make sure it won't screw anything up.
