Math (or a bunch of other devs) could put an end to this within a day - their work made this possible.

Maybe their intentions were good, but this whole "i know it but i dont tell you much" lead to a drm-money machine.

There is always a correct and a wrong/ill way to do something.
Now in the case of dongles I think you can compare what Cobra USB is and does and what TB is and does.

Now think for what reasons why both of them have DRMs, they do have a huge difference why they decided to include a DRM mechanism in their dongles.

I don't think they are the same Cobra and PS3USERCHEAT just add special features to the ps3. They don't make money off pirating games.

I bought a JB dongle(actually I got 3) so I could Jailbreak my ps3. Install packages, run homebrew and unsigned code and of course run backup games. I could backup my own games and run them.
TB is totally different. IMO it´s this. lol worth quoting twice.

I know in the real world most end up selling out but its sad to see. i also heard that Xorloser was involved in this, not sure if its true but it also makes me sad. no ps3scene, just profit.

Exactly my point.
Cobra is more that it gives you the ption and the flexibility to use it as you want; for piracy; for your own games; for it's extra features and whatever they came up with software updates...
TB is like, let's say, the guy you go and pay some (less than the other) money so he can do a trick with some "big" people he knows and you can skip paying the taxes, which taxes are vital and go to making streets and everything in the city/contry you live, so after some years that all people do this trick the whole system collapses and you end up living in a city/country that is a mess and that person doesnt care anymore because he is somehwere lost in a tiny island in the planet.

Also about the DRM, Cobra is doing it because they just don't want it to be reverse engineered, which is fair.
TB is using it because they don't want Sony to tackle it so they can continue making profit from stuff that they didn't do nothing in practice.

What's all this about paying for the games? PARADOX is not selling games they are releasing them just like any other scene group. The TB people in Indonesia are selling games. Gregory if PARADOX was making a profit from this, it would paint a huge target on their back, causing most top sites to remove them over fear of getting DCMA take down. Huge no no to make profits from piracy, usually ends up with other groups releasing scene notices about you. My guess is PARADOX knows how TB works and since PARADOX has been kind of out of the loop for a while, they are releasing as much as they can before other groups jump on the band wagon. It's a great way to make a return, being the only one offering something

I don't think TB is handing out their encryption keys to anyone who asks.
They have to be working hand in hand and making a profit

You don't understand how it works.
Plus you miss something.
They release the games so people WORLDWIDE will have access to them.
You STILL NEED TO GET THE DONGLE in order to play them so they do make profit.

I wanted to post also that I just can't digest the fact that everybody in this scene just sold his soul to hell:

PSGroove.com, a site that carries the name of such a historical momment in the scene today is psx-*****.com.
