(lol, wiki is so funny @TizzyT )

Enough info about the PS3 file system?

Graf_chokolo released tools to decrypt the PS3 encrypted file system. But enabled ss patches are needed for this. If ss patches are enabled the trophy system doesn't work anymore making lots of games crash. So for me ss patches are disabled making me not able to "play" with those tools.

There are tools for windows to read UFS. Never been able to test if they work in combination with the PS3 HDD due to what I wrote before
For what I did read in graf_chokolo his comments it is only possible to connect the HDD to another PS3...

For normal users with only GameOS the filesystem stays encrypted and Windows will only see one big empty partition if you connect the PS3 HDD to it...
YES some actual source, thank you OoZic for the info and links. I still doubt it for some reason lol, curse my stubbornness. I Really wish I had the knowledge to just go in and check for myself and also a working PS3 that way I can just accept the fact.

I do think $ony altered the file system a bit, just like Apple did also

Like for Apple (Hackintosh on my PC) I need MacDrive to read the partition. The normal Windows UFS utilities aren't able to do so as far as I know
