1.) TB aren't Indonesia.
2.) TB are well known scene developers.
3.) Indonesia was a test country for the device.
4.) TB devs need a site as their front runner, to promote the selling of the device, who else to use than a "trusted" scener and his website.
5.) That scener gets some of the profits for whoring said device.
6.) Paradox releases so many games, those games CANNOT be played without the TB dongle, so are USELESS unless you buy TB.
7.) TB, PS3Crunch and Paradox profit, the purchasers are happy sucking some d*ck, so they can get some free pirate games.

The concept of TB itself is disgusting.

ok I'm not naive, and I don't really care about the TB people. I was defending the comments about PARADOX. They are an old release group that follows scene release rules. One of those rules is you cannot release stuff to make a profit since it creates a huge security problem, they become a bigger target for busts since they make a profit of the copywrong. If they do a scene notice is usually sent out and groups are purged from userdbs.

But now thinking about this I guess this PARADOX could jsut be the Trueblue people who dug up a dead group name because they knew it would help spread their devices and build trust....

Ok so originally it was posted that TB dongle was just DRM to make sure you had TB and that the discs contained debug eboots, from the dev net. So it appeared as a stupid tax. Can you actually play a debug eboot on a home console? I thought you couldn't. Could there be an actual payload on this device? If so and you were a group looking to release content wouldn't you want to get in contact with TB in hopes of sharing the exploit. From a sales prospective, if PARADOX is releasing games for TB this will increase TBs sales because people will buy the device but also their will be a small percentage that buy their disks, the ones afraid to download or no access. PARADOX gains more rep and access so they are happy because they are offering playable stuff to the pirates that own the device.

Of course they are - do you think they doing TB's dirty work for free?

As scene group they remain hidden, but they can provide TB with fresh games.
TB itself couldnt just setup a website and provide Eboot's, Sony would have shut this down in hours.
So they pay a scene group for releasing these games...


Whats bothering me most is, that the scene itself is tolerating such releases.
10 years ago they would have nuked PARAOX out of every scene site for this.



And i guess most dev's are in bed with TB, and they will do everything they can, that noone will release a tb free solution.


But one thing is for sure - if sony goes after them (and will try), nobody will donate a single penny for them.
I personally hate sony, but in this case i say "find them and **** them hard"
