Only downside is it's going to rule out using any more PCI sockets, but I'm more worried about heat.

Cheers for the link btw!

Oh yeh, something else that's on my wish list is a hybrid SSD drive for my OS and RAID for a bunch of 500GB drives I got for €20 each.

yes airflow is very important, glad there are people who know. My friend had a nvidia gefore 9800GX2, it died after like a year because of constant overheating. remember that its best to have a push pull effect in the case.

Microstar computer with MSI X58 Platinum mobo (needed to flash a normal MSI bios to it to have all bios options, normally it has a Medion bios. Mobo is a cut off version missing some hardware)
Pentium i7 first gen. @2600 mhz (8 cores)
6Gb DDR3 @1600mhz with cooling
Nvidia GTX260 graphics card
X-Fi Fatal1ty sound card (with front connection box and remote control)
Dual monitor (Philips and Samsung)
some big HDD's in combination with a NAS

and a crappy Acer 7720Z laptop which needs replacement within short time...

My PC specs:

Big black box,
Monitor (between 9" & 42")
Speakers from at least 15 years ago which my dad gave to me,
Microsoft keyboard that I "borrowed" from work after I spilt beer on my old one
HP mouse which I picked up somewhere or other
Ubuntu OS (I'm told it's the learners Linux distro)
Erm... bit of dust on top of the box

There we go, my Specs, try not to get too jealous fellas :D

Thanks, it's been a long, hard, expensive road to get this rig running, but It's more than worth it, who else can honestly say they have a computer that can run Dungeon Keeper 2??? I can!

Btw, it's a dual monitor setup, 20ish inch (dunno the actual size) monitor & 42" tv.
