athlon x2 240 @3436Mhz probabbly able to overclock faster with stock cooler, but i dont play games or whatever, just did this coz it was possible.

Got this pc from my father in law after my house went up in flames last december. coz eveything i ever owned burned to ashes!!!

Also this was when the fire was allmost put out. it had burned for 3 hours before they could find the switch in the ground to turn off the gas pipes leading to the appartments

btw how to get a nice online record of my specs? do i have to have the registered version of cpuz? coz i dont see a paste button anywhere. and from the looks of it it's an automated file

Nice rig, that dual 500GB should get you so fast read/write speeds. I have dual 500GB too in raid 0, I get about 125 MB/s read. As for the 550, dammit I really wish I had a fermi lol. A subwoofer on a laptop??? no I'm confused...is external right?

Naws you don't need a registered version of CPUZ. Just follow these steps and you be on your way.

1. Run CPU-z
2. Click on the "About" Tab
3. Click on Validation
4. Change the name if desired
5. Place email for safe keeping of the record
6. Click submit
7. A browser window will automatically open up with the page with your records.

No problem, I see that there is some overclocking done maybe??? stock I believe was either 2.6 or 2.8 on the 240, but yours is showing 3.5 NICE.

Being in the legal mood today due to people who don't understand dutch legal laws I have a question...

My PC came with Windows 7 Home premium. I needed to replace the bios on my MSI X58 Platinum mobo because the original Medion bios didn't meet my needs to control the hardware. So I flashed the original MSI X58 bios to it. With this original bios my Windows 7 wasn't legal anymore. So now I use a slic bios to have a legal Windows 7 Home Premium again... am I a pirate now

yeah i used to do overclocking in the past, but thats maybe 10 years ago, but i got this pc from my father in law, looked at the bios saw the settings, the searched on the internet if someone with the same combo mobo and cpu did an overclock and to what point. i then figured i put it like this(seemed a save setting coz it can go faster than this) and see if the systems speed would improve. But hey since i had only the 1 gig ram at the time, it didn't. so next day went out to buy 2 gigs dd3. and left the settings coz the proc isnt getting really hot 52 degrees (celsius)and the system is fast enough, too bad i dont have a reasonable video card so i can at least check how my system does.......

I would think not since your original purchase includes a license to use that copy of windows installed. By using slic you are only being able to activate it. You should still legally hold a license to that copy of windows. I'm only going to say I'm like 75 percent sure. So in my mind NO you are not pirating.

Sorry to hear this.... a friend of mine owned a snackbar and his place went down in flames also..... one of the most terrible things someone can have in his life...

Nope i don't think so, coz the only thing atm thats not standard is the bios then. I'm guessing your still using the home premium key and windows that came with the device?.

That is the laptop I bought, my mate has one from about a year ago and he was playing the latest games on it with full graphics.

BongMasterP, my understanding is you can't be a pirate if you own the original, it because of pirates that you have to jump through hoops to try and make a legit windows work after some modifaction...
