Hmm I still don't think so as the license is only for the copy of windows and nothing related to the motherboard (I think). The only thing that I see is that you voided any warranty that came with the motherboard but don't see anything that can be put against you by law. Again the SLIC is only to activate the windows copy. The license should be associated with the key. and besides if your computer is a brand computer like say DELL, the service number should have all details on your computer on purchase day. If you were to ever go to court or the likes just tell them to check the service number and see that you did indeed purchase that license for that windows copy and the key associated with that copy (hoping that you have the same key).

lol, i really only bought one windows in my life, it was from my first pc, back in the day. i was allready 16 back then, i bought myself a pentium with windows 95. and since then i've been pirating everything i can. guess just a life style,.
i do buy originals ocassionally when i realy want to play something that hasn't been cracked yet.

I still think the License is for OEM Medion mobo's. By changing the mobo to MSI with the Bios I don't use the license from Medion anymore. I would need a MSI license and I don't own that one.

But MicroStar International = MSI... MicroStar computers have also Medion mobo's... confusing for me and every other consumer I think...

Not that I am concerned anyway, just wanted to show how fast someone becomes a pirate if he wants to use his hardware to its full potential and how difficult laws nowadays are
