Well I doubt its anonymous this time around they admittedly messed up last time they took down PSN and stopped realizing that it effected the innocent online gamers. that's just my opinion (maybe I'm just gullible).

Also these are the directly affected people, but this is a direct attack with an indirect result/target, so it has a good excuse for this to happen, it's just that anonymous didn't thought of that and they didn't shut it down when they could again...

Dunno but, I'd be jumping up and down like a crazy girl if I would hear they would attack Sony again, this time it would really hurt, even further than just their pockets, and possibly finally there won't be a nolifer like Howard Stinger or Kaz Hirai saying that "this was a Sophisticated Vendetta By The Hacking Community" and that "this was a revenge move" and especially that lame "They came back — they were not angry with us — They were upset that they had lost their ability to connect to their favorite service". well.....
i am in no way a sony fanboy but i do like to play my games with friends on a free service. my friends who are not in the scene do not deserve to lose out because an underground group go after the "easy" targets.

is it any wonder why sony get their way in court? we as a scene do not put our righteous beliefs into practice, all we seem to do is portray ourselves as scumbags who attack the consumers and company indiscriminantly instead of being the oppressed.

if you have a problem with a guy, do you sort it out with him or go after his dependents in order to hurt him?
i would go after the guy like a man, not his kids like a *****...

like i always said, the way to hurt sony is to turn their consumers against them, hackers and legit customers alike, NOT harm the very people we need to aid us.... a good smear campaign is legal/effective/non destructive

at the moment, the only people who think we are right is us... that is what we need to change

$ony servers have to meet the highest standards because they do financial things. After the first breach they have very secure servers. It will need a lot of power to attack again.....

So, you criticise Sony for not caring about its users but then go on to say "why we should care about them, we never did, we'll never do" showing exactly the same level of arsehole-ishness (yeah, it's a word, honest!)

I care about them, just because you keep up with the scene doesn't mean everybody does and, BTW, An anti-Sony fanboy is just as much of a misguided fool as a Sony fanboy.

It's not like I'm (and all the rest here) ever gonna have shame about my (our) opinion, I know my rights and I know how I can protect them. Period
Either way why should I feel shame about Sony fanboys when NOT EVEN SONY ITSELF doesn't care?
Also you must understand that criminals are not the ones that attacked Sony but Sony themselfs, I doubt that anonymous would ever bother if they didn't see that Sony did the one of the biggest crimes in consumers market and human history; the complete circumvention of his rights.
It's a war, and it's Sony who started it.
It's not like you do have a choise to fight or not, you just have the option to choose with which side you are, which automatically gives a wider view of your political thinking in your real life, and this side you discribe you are, is not really flattering for a person in the 21st century...

My thing is that Sony is just the "prophecy" of what will follow with other companies etc...
I just can't see everything and everyone to turn into Nazis, from polititians to Sony.
