Looks like there is already one person willing to join the Vita Scene, Developer SKFU has released a PS Vita Firmware Extractor to do a little 'research'. To Quote:

I know the developers have had the vita for a while, but I don't think it has been released to the public yet, not even in Japan. |

Development kits are already out... ...not to mention that there are atleast of a 100 stolen units.
Those stollen units are sooo funny because not only they are before it's launch date but on the place of the PSVita logo on the faceplate they have instead a PlayStation logo (LOL). Well if that leads into something I might consider buying a used one in the future...

Does anyone know how vita's security system is? If they failed like in the PSP, we use PS3 to get the keys LOL

...Or Sony might realize that the only reason to buy one of these within 2 years of launch is for homebrew, and thus an exploit is an important sales tool. Wait...what am I saying? Sony using logic? Forget I mentioned it. |
