I thought Ferrox never worked other than to load ISOs from within linux that would then unload when you rebooted to GameOS?

It allowed you to play Game ISO's, they gave the method to Sony instead of releasing.

That would explain why the "release" never worked.

So, what does an exploit from 2007 that was never released (and was presumably patched) have to do with removing OtherOS in 2010?

Thats the point i was trying to make, the options for Piracy where out long before OtherOS was removed, so piracy had nothing to do with OtherOS being removed.

Ferrox

I remember those days... yeah it was exciting .. people in those days followed PARADOX religiously ... they were kind of like todays DUPLEX release group. It was a huge let down when PARADOX never released a method to playing ISO's from HDD back in the day. It was Impressive to see FERROX( a Girl Dev mind you) Had accomplish this is record time. Her Youtube videos were legendary..

Those stollen units are sooo funny because not only they are before it's launch date but on the place of the PSVita logo on the faceplate they have instead a PlayStation logo (LOL).
Well if that leads into something I might consider buying a used one in the future...
Very strange sense of humour you have there, might be a good idea to go outside and get some sun on your face.

Nonsense, Duplex don't have a scratch on the Paradox of years ago. Never heard something so silly in my life.

erm..ok, thats weird, the frontpage article has only 8 posts on it and when you click reply, it brings you to this thread of which none of those 8 posts are included here, and none of the posts here are on the frontpage list either....?

There's no humor there. It's just your brain not meeting the lowest requirements to analyse it. Don't worry, don't cry, we will pretend it's ok.
