Good idea though, I wanted to suggest it aswell... Something that I think that is needed on multiMan is Filemanager sorting options (Name/Type/Size/Last modification) Dunno if I sounded stupid if the feature is available but I don't seem to be able to find such thing on...(could be a bad installation though) Also I kind of find annoying that my music and videos from XMB get cached on a different folder than PS3's system folders and they don't just get used directly from these folders. Plus they don't get erased after a reboot, some of them even remain after I delete them from my XMB. It causes me sometimes to run out of space being unable to copy some stuff on the internal having no option but to get rid of them from the XMb first.

And you're right, I only have one disc and I don't use external disk (USB), only internal (I've replaced 60Go by 250Go).Can I try with an USB key (16Go) for other games? I said "other games" becase I found a list for compatibility games with kmeaw 3.55, multiMAN, etc... And It seems that for MoH, a disc is required. Edit: I've just tested with a MotorStorm copy and MoH original inserted and the game seems to work. it's a first point! I think that for few games, eboot.bin and param.sfo have had too modifications! With this OFW does I need untouched eboot.bin? Last edited by Kasimodo; 11-21-2011 at 04:18 PM. |

Ok. thank you.
There is something I can't understand. "Now" multiMAN has a nice GUI but why, when we start a game, we return to XMB. Would there be another way to keep multiMAN open without returning to XMB? Last edited by Kasimodo; 11-22-2011 at 02:11 PM. |

Hello,
Hoping that Dean still takes a look into this thread from time to time so here's a question regarding a possible Mm function. (btw if anyone else can help regarding this thenplease do.) With the new gamedata.pkg would it be in anyway possible to incorporate this into mM? Possibly so that it would be 'in built' and auto run when and only when games from a 'PSN -Ext' column within mM are selected? Suppose this extra column would only look for titles installed within the 'GAMEi' folder on the external. If at all possible the system would revert back to normal when exiting each ext PSN title. I'm pretty sure that this has probably been in the back of Deans minds (think he or someone else mentions something regards mM integration in another post) so just wondering if it is indeed something we may see in a future version? Many thanks for your time. saku |

because that is the only way we can run our backups atm, we can only wish that some day we can play retail games as psn games that are installed directly on xmb (like driver san francisco) without need of any backup managers. (i know there is been some methods progress before but most games would not working properly) |

Hmmm no ! even if we were able to run backups that way you suggesting, like we can already though ^_^ by modifying some files... I still like more Multiman than the original xmb, for the work and the efforts that Deank have put in his creation, the thing i'd like to see is a CFW by Deank lol and the xmb would be the xmmb !!! ![]() This would be awesome and if could replace completely the xmb then this would be TIGHT !!!

#Feature request#
Feature request: Free space warning/check against files to be copied to internal or external drive.
Reason: To avoid the bug where completely filling the internal drive stops the reclaiming of free space unless formatted. Note external drive can be fixed with "chkdsk X: /f" command (X is the letter assigned to the drive)... "convert lost chains to files" no. Not sure of a practical method, calculating files each time would be lengthy for some games... Thank you for MM Dean! |
