Your Laser is dirty i would say go here for instructions to clean it

is your drive flashed? and if it is did you try to play a newer backup?

im not sure... after i update my console 3 months ago... all my games cant be played... then i sent to the shop for repair... after that, it works..but only for old games.. the latest games like GOW cant be played... 3 or 4 days later.. ive got this 'unrecognized disc' error... ive tried diffrent game but still got that error... is that because of my dirty laser? or something else... sorry for my bad english.. Thanx for the help.. |

you should get your drive firmware updated, and that solution will work for now but mw3 is on the new disc format and you will need your drive firmware updated to be able to play it

how to update drive firmware..? i really dont know bout this thing... i've tried send it to shop for update... but they said my xbox cant upgrade to LT+2.0(which can play latest games).

It's probably because you have a hitachi drive and LT2.0 isn't out yet for your drive. You just have to wait.
