i am following your instruction however the ps3 is telling me that the file is corrupted (8002f2c5) what am i doing wrong?

however when i am on part two.. i try to update with the cfw.. but it keep telling me that

"the lastest version of the system software is already installed. There is no need to update."

and yes.. deleted everything in part one..

try installing from the recovery menu.

I manage to install multiman and BDEMU2 using your links.. but unfortunate it seem to freeze my ps3 after (10 secs/or when I move left on the controls?)..

Is there something I am doing wrong?

try going to recovery menu and rebuild your database. option 4

rebuilding database didn't work..

sorry i wasn't more clear before but my crash happens when i start multiman.. it seems to just freeze after a few secs while its running.. maybe i should try a earlier version?

i only saw now in step 2 that after installing the cfw there is another thing called win-rar for windows. what is this exactly and how must it be installed with the cfw pup?
