So I had an original copy of FF7 that I let a friend borrow, but he decided to sell it instead. Needless to say, no longer friends. Anyway, I was wanting to play FF7 again but I can't spend any money at this time, with the holidays and several birthdays coming up.
I was wondering if there was a way to download FF7 onto my ps3 for free. I was looking at the FAQ and other posts but the terms being used were completely over my head. I have no idea what an MFW is, I don't think Kakaroto's firmware(Whatever that means) covers my wants, and I have no sodering skills of any kind.
Does anybody know a way to play FF7 on my Ps3 for free? Sorry for not knowing any of these terms. (If you do use terms that the average person wouldn't know, please explain what they are to me. Thanks)

A small detail to everyone who says "buy it used", since it's a rare and still popular game, used copies cost MUCH MORE than a new PS3/360 game because of how rare it is on the market now. And it's also nearly impossible to find offlline. Just saiyan.

It would be much easier to use a PSP to play a "backup" of FF7 instead of Jailbreaking a PS3...

However, if your ps3 isn't hacked, it's 10 bucks on psn(it was a shocker for me too trust me. im not being sarcastic either). I know you said you wanted it for free but i'd get banned for telling ya details.

i know lol . im fourtunate to have physical copies both ff7 and ff8 have 2 of each one regular of each and one greatest hit of each... lol and when i said react psn i didnt say he had it on his ps3 just mearly pointing something out .. hence the ( im not saying anything more )

I guess I'll drop it if it's impossible. I would love to buy it again but I don't have the money. I'll have to wait until February to buy the game again. Thanks Anyway.

Oh! Would it be legal/possible to download onto my PC? I wouldn't mind playing like that.

It's really easy to get it on your pc but i can't explain how etc
