Ive said many times that the bios is per console encrypted and was my mistake for not specifying that for everyone and just assumed that it was obvious.

As my guide? Its a Unbrick solution that nobody has except for that last part is from E3 downgrade tutorial but I add to it to make the hole complete unbrick process easier and again trying to help thanks for insults.

When you solder the wire method the ps3 should turn on but have no HDD activity or video/audio, this purpose is to start the ps3 without running normal function in order to reflash your bios.

So yes I believe it's normal if your ps3 is acting stated above.

check your cable, this error most likely its caused by clip not installed firmly.
