I have the exact same idea, and tell you what. If its truely like that, than maybe if new games and coming games will keep appearing its not even so bad. Coz the only thing you would have to buy once then is the true blue.

the only problem is setting me back from buying it is there going to be future game releases and also is sony gonna able to stop it i mean if i buy one now then 1 month down the track no new games work it would be a waste i meen dont get me wrong they have cracked alot of games but half the games i wouldnt even bother getting them it is still worth it but like i said time will tell

in fact, I think the creators of TB, made a nonsense to start selling these things, because pretty soon someone will make a decent JailBreak and all we're going to vomit rainbows and spit in the face of $ ony

The TB can only run the new games for the same reason that the games run Backuped.

The mechanism is almost the same as the Cobra Payloader

Would be oh so funny if cobra team was behind TB and they just didnt want to upgrade cobra to do this so they could sell a new dongle

Yeah that's pretty much what I figured after reading up on devwiki they don't outright say it is Cobra guys but they say "there are many simularities" to cobra and vice versa. Wonder how all the cobra buyers would like it "if" its true

I guess re-producing they patches isnt the issue - the problem is the encryption of the eboot files...

I think if Cobra would be more useful for the majority of users we would have it integrated into cfw by now.
But by now - how needs cobra? Most devs wont event have such a dongle for RE...


And to make this clear :

Yes it is a big differences if backup's can be used for free or if you have to pay for it.
They are making money with the work of the game devs.
(making legal backups is one thing, selling pirated games is something totally different)
