Enable Music on all games?

Is there any way to enable/patch/homebrew to lift the restriction made on certain games (well a lot I'd say) preventing from listening while playing.

I'd love to play all games while listening to my mp3s from my MUSIC XMB.

Thank you very much folks.

Multiman has that feature. I believe there is a thread about it. Search for it or look at the multiman thread.

i think the homebrew developer must recode and include some plugins in order to make use of such functions. deank for example has used the screenshot plugin on discboot afaik

i assume it has to be done also with retail games, so that the eboot must be newly compiled with said plugins...

Plug the PS3 into one socket and an iPod or whatever into the other.
Actually it's the opposite of the one you show:

Instead of: 3.5"Jack Out - 2 x 3,5"Jack In
It's: 3.5"Jack In - 2 x 3,5"Jack Out

My points either way in such hack is:

DON'T USE SUCH JACK HACKS FOR COMBINING AUDIO, IT CAN (MOST CERTAINLY WILL ACTUALLY) CAUSE ISSUES TO YOUR AUDIO HARDWARE SINCE IT DOUBLES THE RESISTANCE OF YOUR ELECTRIC CABLES AND IT SENDS BACK TO YOUR PS3 AND IPOD TOO MUCH ELECTRICITY TO HANDLE.

Also if you listen through that thing the audio most of the times will be distorded with a humming or other artifacts due to polarity and grounding issues.

Please note that this method will be mono on each device meaning one will output through the left speaker and one will output through the right speaker, I might be wrong, but I don't see any circuitry to handle the merging of both signals from both devices and so I'm guessing that it use mono for each device.

Nope it's not an L - R splitter, it's a doubler/cloner, I use it to listen to the same audio through 2 pairs of headphones.
For example I use it when I play splitscreen Resident Evil 5 at midnights whith my best friend so we don't annoy anyone else in the house.
I also use it when I'm on trip with a friend we hook up this one on an ipod and we listen to the same music simultaneously.
The result is always stereo (real stereo not doubled L or R channels)

Sorry I only used the wrong picture because I didn't want to go look for a pic, but what I was referring to was the one opposite to the one in the picture. Sorry for confusion. I know slitting signals is not a problem but merging them is another story.
