Is it worth the upgrade to 3.73 for AC:Revelation?
For me this is a serious question I am a hardcore AC fan, I own all the AC games DLCs either on PC or PS3, I don't normally have to decide when it comes to new games like portal and this but ACR is apparently really glitchy on PC according to my friends and my friend is offering me ACR for free because he's finished it (to borrow ofcourse) do you guys think it's worth the upgrade and has anyone here got experience with the PC version of ACR??

i think u should not update because u only borrowing the disc when u finnish with it there gos all the CFW features,why dont u play it at his place or borrow his ps3 for few days.
maybe copy acr to ur hdd and wait for a fix if there is one comming.

an other possibiliy is to buy a tb and keep the hombrew ability if the fw is under 3.56.
if the fw is over 3.55 the is nothing to loose at the moment.

in my opinion there is nothing left more for the CFW if your purpose for having it are the games.. i had it for 6 months and updated for BF3 campaign and online and i am very satisfied. you may really have so much games in your hdd but the thing is that you will always play one more than others . imagine multiplayer online.. also you will not get bored cause you can surf demos in PStore or play around at playstation home. My suggestion is to UPDATE especially for that game ( i have ordered it form zavvi.com)

If you're that desperate to play it then upgrade. Personally I wouldn't upgrade for a single title (i.e. there'd have to be at least two or three) and I wouldn't upgrade if I was just lending a title.
I'd say hold off a few months, there's been quite a bit of news coming out lately so hopefully in the next few months there'll be something concrete, if not you can still upgrade then and borrow it/get it cheaper. |
