After you install your downgrade dongle and push power and eject method the ps3 suppose to shut off after few seconds, once it does that put lv2diag.self and 3.55 PS3UPDATE.PUP from step1 folder onto usb flash drive and plug it in 2nd usb and turn on ps3, in seconds the usb should have a light indicator that has activity then should be installing 3.55 CFW

Yes i know what you are saying, i have checked everything, the only time it doesent turn off by itself and kills the lights is when i have the switches like this 100000, and also when i flashed your modified .bin, powered off and the on, then it just sits there like you wrote in your guide.
But as soon as i reflash my original NOR backup or e3_downgrade.bin the symptoms returns.

Made three dumps, all three are the same and no error sayes Nor Dump Checker on any of them.

Ok after you reflash your own bios all 8 L.E.D flash threw? If so then obviously the Bios isn't corrupted if it was wouldn't let you finish. If it does finish you keep the ps3 on and add the downgrade bin file to your sd card also including your own bios you just flashed?
Then push reset 3 times to make sure and move switches 1-5 down and 6th up? and push reset 3 times again then push start??

Then did you push reset button at least 3 times before and after?
Push start after words?

No install the downgrade bin successfully only one time!

Im doing everything right.

Must be some kind of hardware failure, the fact that i cant even boot my error free original dump is wierd.

Ill recheck your clip connection on both ends, to the NOR Chip and to the TF board that connect to your internal HDD.

@Pro.Hack i tried your method, everything went fine, i could flash your bios dump, after i flashed my original dump from 3.73, also went trough. after successful flash of downgrade.bin, i turned off my ps3, switched power completly off and than tried to use my dongle - but after powering on with power and eject i do still not have any usb activity, so i cant.enter service mode. any ideas? thanks

Hey, perhaps your dongle isn't working correctly.
Maybe trying an other?

Just to make sure since it wasn't mentioned after you installed my Mod Bios did you turn off ps3 completely? Unplug power and all?

Then turn on ps3 and move switches to 000001 and push reset button 3 times before install your own bios?

The Dongle is an E3 Card reader and worked on other console 1 week ago.
It really are the USB ports, even if i plug in a controller or USB stick, i got no activity at all..

Erm "000001" is to flash downgrade.bin, not the BIOS
What i did after flashing your modded BIOS is simply power of the console completly.
