could making it GAMEZ instead of GAMES make a difference? could ftp fix my situation?

Yes they should show up same as your internal games,yes from there u need to copy it to internal.

Try formating again your EX HD,dunno why Eboot is red i guess its important file?

u should not rename or change anything in BLUS OR BLES leave everything as it is,actually only thing u can do is delete from PS3_UPDATE folder update data 256MB but don't delete folder!

test it with games or gamez maybe it works...and with ftp you can directly transfer the game to the internal hdd and if multiman shows the game than your ext hdd is the problem i think

im currently formating the drive with fat32formatter. it seems like it will take a while (about 500 gb so expected?)

i will try a GAMES and a GAMEZ folder with both having the same game and if it shows up in multiman. if not, ill try ftp. when using ftp i need to enable wifi i think...it wont make me update will it?

you can disable auto update in system setting i think and per wifi it takes a lot of time ^^ try to reinstall multiman and bdemu maybe it helps too

ps3tricks, i used the formatter you suggested and i selected quick format. it formatted the 450gb drive pretty quick (like a minute), is that normal?

after the reformat and putting it in gamez, it still is not showing up in mulitman. if i got to file manager i can find it and when i open it it shows inside the PS3_GAME folder (with USRDIR, etc). when i click other games (which do show up in multiman) it shows PS3_GAME,PS3_UPDATE, and PS3_DISC.SFB. this is confusing because on the external HD i have the game and update folders as well as the .sfb......

when you make new folder on root call it GAMEZ (as you know) with uppercase letters and simple put games there,if this will not work again sorry i can't help you much,maybe other members will see your thread and help you.

try to deinstall mutliman downoad the newest one install it install bdemu and try it again maybe fixpermission can also help...
