How do I install Unrar? As default Xarchiver can't handle rar-files..
Should I download the one called "Unrar for PowerPC Linux" here: http://www.rarlab.com/rar_add.htm

yeah use unrar , ive not tried installing as i havent need to .

there is away round to get write access , just gotta find out how to do it

Finally I found the command to get write access to ps3db. Open Root Terminal and write:

mount -o remount,rw /mnt/ps3db
