You dont have to, the progskeet is slim enough to stay inside the console without damaging any ribbon cables and the board itself.
But its bes tto take it out so you dont have to take it apart again if you need to flash something else :P |

Its safe to take it straight off then, aslong as the downgrade went well and your on 3.41/3.55
 Also, what chip do you have? NAND or NOR |

You need 2 other parts to make it solderless, the 360 clip and the adaptor you can buy the entire package here http://www.diy-buy.com/buy-progskeet...tle_p9069.html Is it ok if you can help me when i come to downgrade mine since you've done NAND before
