Some people get impatient. Nobody wants to wait forever.

Couple weeks turns to soon, then to wait a couple months, then turns into a year. The scene is full of false hopes and promises. Only a few devs deliver the goods they speak of. No need to mention them, everybody knows who does what and who doesn't.

Just saying, I can understand why people want to jump. I'll hold my breath till my face turns blue though (is that a pun?).

I'm not sure if I understood the second half, are you trying to say I steal/pirate games or something? There is one game I want to play, and that is UMVC3 which I actually own, but no point in trying to prove that. Anyway, I wouldn't consider myself being at mercy and if anyone asks why I just don't update, it's obvious I'd like to stay on 3.55 as I've been since the past 10 months. Not trying to argue, but it seems as if you jumped to conclusion to quick on me.

As much as I don't like the whole idea behind TrueBlue, I understand those who buy it. If you want to keep homebrew and play 3.6+ games, that's (unfortunately) your only option. I won't go into piracy here or the option of having two PS3s (because I don't consider it an option at all, it's just a waste of money and another set of cables to trip over).

ANYWAY...

As somebody said above, since 3.55 we're pretty much running in circles. New things are announced on a regular basis and usually that's all they are - announcements, they never "materialize", we're still on 3.55 and I bought MGS HD Collection for Xbox and that sucks. So what I want to say is, don't be too harsh on people who buy True Blue. People keep saying something will come up soon and we should just wait but people have been saying that for months and months. Eventually everybody will get tired of waiting, from "soon" to "just around the corner" (that never seems to come) it's only logical that people will start breaking down and paying for a solution to those people IN THIS VERY SCENE who are skilled/capable/smart enough to come up with it.

And there's no point in chasing ideals here as much as it would be nice if everybody worked together and shared their results so the whole scene benefits from it. After all, nothing else in the world works like that, it's all about "the mighty $$".
