there might be somewere tho itll be hard to come by, i was on ebay looking and someone was selling a 20g phat ps3 from lunch brand new and sealed. but it was sold for like $600 lol. why do you want a phat one so bad, if your so set on the phat ps3 id say your best bet would be to buy it pre-owned from a shop like game. they give you one years warrenty and you can purchse another 2 years for a extra £40 or £45 unsure. i think they are selling 60gb ps3 for £150 pre-owned, so in total itll cost like £200 for a phat pre-owned with three years warrenty. what country are you from??
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() have a look http://www.game.co.uk/en/hardware/pl...sCatalog_EN_GB if it was me id go for a slim ps3, unless you want it for BC (ps2 games) although ive been told the graphics arnt as good as should be. if your looking a slimline then tescos is doing a 320gb ps3 with uncharted 3, faster blu-ray dvd and fifa 2012 for £230. if you just want a console and not the games then sainsburys entertainment is doing a 160gb for £157.99. tescos: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.213-8247.aspx sainsburys: http://www.sainsburysentertainment.c...duct=E10365243

Graphics are identical. Storage can be easily upgraded in both as the PS3 uses a standard 2.5" laptop harddrive. The main difference between them is the size and the features. Older fats, the 20gb, 60gb, and early 80gb models had PS2 backwards compatibility. 40gb and newer 80gb models have the same features as current slims. No PS2 backwards compatibility, less USB ports, etc etc,
The chances of getting a new fat PS3 are slim, or it would cost a small fortune. PS2 compatible ones at least. Getting a new slim is easy, but the chances of it being on 3.55 or below are almost non-existent.

I've bought a used 120 GB slim a few days ago, but it is almost new, it was bought NEW 5 months ago and it was on 3.55, got 2 dualshock 3 controllers and 3 games, the original box is ofcourse there with the original warranty, the guy from which i buyed has played very little on it, so it's like i got it new :D
