Hi everyone,

back on my Fat, everything was working fine, the ps3 detected everytime my win 7 PC, and i used PS3 media server to stream movies with srt subtitles, since i bought my Slim i didn't even tried it or looked at it, but now i wanted to stream a movie from my PC to my PS3 but nothing, the PS3 doesn't see any media servers, and my PC doesn't see the PS3 too.


tried with PS3 media server, but still the same .....


I went yesterday from kmeaw to rebug CFW, everything is set up right, internet works on both, and they are both connected on the same LAN network.

Tried it wirelles and tried it with a cable but still the same :/


If anyone could help me i would be very glad


P.S. firewall and AV turned off

if you are on rebug check the network connection settings..
the connection setting to connect to a media server is off by default on rebug..

I have read that on google but i searched everything on my PS3 and could not found that setting for media servers, can you please explain me where it exactly is ?

you have to configure your menu settings with the rebug selector to menu 1 or something like that... dont have rebug installed any more..

after that you find the media server connection setting under network settings again..
if its not visible try the other menu-settings with the selector...
thats one reason i deinstall rebug and made my own 3.55 firmware with mfw 0.2.1

I am currently on :

Mode : REBUG

XMB : DEBUG

DEBUG MENU : 2


I can change the first two options but not the last one :/



EDIT: oh it was my fault i was hitting the square button instead of cros :S

just play with the settings for Mode and XMB... one of these will give you the Media Server back i think ;-)
