@TizzyT ps thanks for the info bro
Bitsbubba NFW is a Cobra FW with some xml files replaced. The FW works perfectly fine if all you change is some xml's but all you can do with this is change/add/remove icons on the XMB menu.

You CANNOT modify lv2_kernel.self or lv1.self in Cobra FW anyway, it will not work properly and there is even a slight risk of bricking!
Trust me I tried to add Linux to Cobra FW. Here's what it did :
PS3MFW applied the patches fine and the console would boot normally without Cobra inserted. However, impossible to have petitboot boot on this, it would always just go back to XMB.
Not only that, but with dongle inserted it either doesn't boot, or boots without Cobra functionality.
I think that should answer all your questions.

Nice to see that someone has actually tried....
But I don't think its impossible....sure maybe with the tools we have now we might not be able to implement OtherOS but in a programming sense it is DEFINITELY POSSIBLE!!!

Hmm I would say no you can't use MFW Builder as last I checked that is supposed to be used to mod OFW (maybe wrong).

I think only Cobra team can do this. Their CFW is pretty special, they made a buttload of patches.
Even if someone would bother coding Linux into the CFW, dongle mode will most likely not work unless Cobra team updates it.

Also you can mod a CFW with PS3MFW builder, just make sure you don't tick patches that are already done on your CFW PUP or it will error out :P
